This is the grand finale; the last day of this awesome adventure.
We had it all planned out, and ready for execution. Yvonne would fly out here, pick up a rental vehicle at the airport, drive to St. Augustine, and meet me at our hotel. She would be there at mile zero when I completed the last mile to take pictures and record some footage for the blog. We would spend Wed and Thu nights in St. Augustine and then take a leisurely road trip home. The best-laid plans...
Life happened - we had an emergency with one of our furry children, so we made the joint decision for Yvonne to remain at home to keep an eye on Mr. T. I completed the trip on Wednesday morning, packed up, and started the trip to Indianapolis. I arrived home on Thursday evening.
I have some footage and photos of the last leg, which I hope you folks will enjoy.
Last but not least, I would like to thank every one of you for your support and encouragement throughout this trip. I really, really, really appreciate it.
