Day 63 - TransAm Express East Bound - August 13th

Effingham, IL to Casey, IL

My bike and I were transported to Effingham, IL and dropped off at the cycle store.

The folks at Bike & Hike were fantastic. They managed to get the wheel sorted quickly, and had me back on the road in no time, so special shoutout to the folks at Effingham Bike and Hike. Link: https://bikeandhikeweb.com/effingham/

I was in a hurry to get to Casey, as our friends Fred and Judy were on their way there to meet up with me. The timing was perfect - I came riding into the parking lot as they were getting luggage out of the car. Judy (who always spoils me) brought me home made brownies, and as if that was not treat enough, they had gluten free beer as well - heaven!!!

I had a quick shower and change of clothes, then we went exploring the town to find things like the worlds biggest rocking chair before we went for dinner. Casey is known for being a small town with big things. Link https://www.bigthingssmalltown.com

All in all a very nice day..
