The trip through the Black Hills of South Dakota was exceptional. Fascinating geological formations, dense forests and incredible views.
Pactola Lake provided a stark contrast to the Black Hills.
Oh wow! What spectacular scenery! If that were me I would probably just set up camp and cancel the rest of the trip!
The Black Hills of Dakota reminded Alan of the Doris Day song. Now he is really dating himself !! You are embarking on a long journey and I look forward to following you. Don't forget to have a baked potatoes or two in Idaho.
