I have been a cyclist most all of my life and love being out feeling the wind and hearing the sound of the tires on whatever the road surface du jour is.Over the years I have done several bike packing trips, and often thought about THE adventure, but work got in the way. Around 10 to 12 years ago I started planning an unaccompanied cross continental ride. Needless to say it remained a dream until recently when I decided to retire. Planning took a very serious note, and here we are ready for THE adventure, and would like to share it with anybody who is interested. All things being equal, this will be the first of many such adventures that I can share with folks.
